JOB DESCRIPTION:
Blazin’ Paddles is a small family-owned kayaking outfitter, operating tours on the Black Canyon portion of the Colorado River. We are currently looking for a detail oriented and reliable person who is familiar in social media, seeking long term employment who would like to grow with our company as a member of our office staff.
This position is best defined as a seasonal position working March – October with the opportunity to return for future seasons. Our business experiences seasonal fluctuations and this is our ‘busy’ time of the year.
Possibility of working 2-3 days/week for 10-12 hours/day

Duties will include:
Greeting tour guests and directing to check-in
Selling merchandise in store
Social Media Marketing: Posting on Instagram/Facebook
Answering phone calls/emails
Scheduling tours
Creating manifests for tours and confirming guests
Helping develop our expansion into our ‘self-guided’ kayak rental fleet
Maintain a warm and welcoming retail/check-in atmosphere
Other duties as assigned
Training will be provided on our reservation system and retail systems.
Employee discount on most retail items in our store.
We hope that the candidate will be a permanent seasonal employee for our business and able to assume additional responsibilities as our business grows.
The position is located in Boulder City, Nevada.
