POSITION TITLE: Entry Level Maintenance Tech
TYPE OF POSITION: Part Time
LENGTH OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent / Year-Round
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a part-time (30 hours per week), entry-level hotel maintenance technician.
This role involves:
– Conducting routine maintenance tasks to ensure the hotel’s facilities are in excellent condition for our guests
– Performing minor repairs on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
– Maintaining cleanliness of the building exterior, mechanical areas, and equipment rooms
– Assisting in setting up and breaking down events or special functions within the hotel
– Maintaining safety standards per hotel policies and local regulations
– Working occasional holidays
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or apprenticeship in a related field preferred
– Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
– Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools safely
– Must be physically capable of lifting heavy items, standing for extended periods, and working in various environments
