Lend A Hand of Boulder City provides transportation, in-home services, companionship, and equipment loan to seniors (60+) and disabled residents of Boulder City, and respite for their caregivers. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for our clients by showing them someone cares, relieving their stress about getting to appointments on time and stretching their budgets. We operate on a donation basis—clients are not charged fees for service.
Financial resources are allocated to our three program areas based on costs of providing the services. Nearly 2/3 of our resources support transportation, nearly 1/3 supports in-home services, and only a small amount supports equipment loan and other administrative expenses.
We are proud of the value of our services to Boulder City. Our total operating cost is $2.40 for each hour of client service we provide. Our costs are so low because our volunteers generously donate their time.
Your donations are appreciated to help us maintain and expand our service levels, as funding gap exists each year. Please help!
