Boulder City Hospital Foundation is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Events Coordinator.
The Events Coordinator provides overall support for the fundraising efforts of Boulder City Hospital Foundation, with a focus on special events, database management and donor stewardship.
The Events Coordinator also maintains the Foundation’s database management efforts through data entry and cleanup.
Event Coordination: Manage all logistics associated with event production, including facility use permits, entertainment lineup, A/V coordination, vendor and sponsor management, volunteer recruitment, and written communications. • Create event budgets; produce reports as necessary. Develop sponsorship opportunities to support events, solicit gifts, and ensure sponsors are recognized appropriately.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate event logistics with demonstrated success in delivering events and projects on time and on budget. • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills. • Outstanding customer service skills. • Prioritize work, work under pressure and meet deadlines. • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Marketing Director of the Hospital, Board members, donors, volunteers, community groups and other related agencies. • Ability to work independently and collaborate with others. • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel and Outlook.
Primarily works in office environment, and will also work off site at events. Ability to continuously sit and stand, may occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
