POSITION TITLE: Volunteer/Social Media Coordinator
TYPE OF POSITION: Part Time
LENGTH OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent / Year-Round
The Senior Center of Boulder City is looking for a friendly, reliable and organized person to join our staff as Volunteer/Social Media Coordinator. This is a part time position, about 20 hours/week. The hours are generally Monday-Friday between 9am-2pm but may include some weekends for special events or training.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Under general supervision, the Volunteer/Social Media Coordinator will recruit and train volunteers as well as provide daily direction, coordination, and consultation for all volunteer functions at the Senior Center of Boulder City and provide general clerical support for Center operations. The position also manages and maintains all social media applications.
• High school diploma or GED
• Proficiency with basic computer applications, such as word processing, spreadsheets, databases and internet usage
• Ability to multitask efficiently
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Familiarity with social media platforms
