Join a Nevada Department of Wildlife ranger at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Aug. 6 at the Lake Mead Visitor Center and learn about the variety of wildlife living in the recreation area. Ranger Program: Ready, Set, Wear It! Aug 11
Join rangers from noon-2 p.m. Aug 11 at the Callville Bay Marina for a variety of water safety and family-friendly activities. Take a photo while wearing a life jacket and learn safe boating tips. For more information, call 702-293-8970.

Ranger Program: Fishing Fun at the Lake, Aug 25
Join a Nevada Department of Wildlife ranger at the Hemenway Fishing Pier at Boulder Beach from 7-9 a.m. Aug. 25 and try to catch some fish. NDOW will have fishing tips and limited bait and fishing gear to check-out. Guests can also bring their own gear. Water shoes, hats and sunglasses are recommended.
