CCSD’s Bond Oversight Committee met last week and recommended approving the expenditure of a 1998 bond issue on the second phase of Boulder City High School’s four-phase replacement. The CCSD Board will now discuss the expense on October 1st and vote on it on October 9th, 2014. You can read an article about this on the RJ’s website by clicking here.
Word on the street is that public comments were apparently instrumental in swaying the vote toward a positive direction, so if you’d like to see the new classroom portion of the renovations move forward, your attendance at the October 9th meeting would probably be very helpful to your fellow supporters.
The CCSD Board meets at 2832 E. Flamingo Road in Las Vegas – typically at 4pm, but you can confirm the place and time on that day’s agenda when it is posted HERE.
In the meantime – let’s look at some artistic renderings, shall we? Below is a sketch of the new administration building and below that, you can see the buildings in RED…those are the ones that would be rebuilt (the Admin building is on top and the classrooms are on the bottom).
