All are invited to attend a concert benefiting the victims of the Route 91 Harvest Festival on Friday, October 13th starting at 5pm at the Boulder City Library Amphitheater.
Originally this event had been organized as a fundraiser for the Boulder City Library, but with the tragic events that unfolded last Sunday, the organizers all agreed to change the focus.
Organizer Tsvetelina Stefanova, (who many of you know from the band Same Sex Mary), says simply, “Playing music and planning shows is what we do and it’s what we can do to help. The Boulder City community was looking for a way to help and this event was the perfect opportunity to rally everyone together”.
There will be lots of music, readings, art and food so it looks like a great way to enjoy a wonderful night of food, fellowship and fun, and also get to contribute to good cause. The suggested donation is $10.
Want to know where the money goes? They’ve partnered with the folks at Zappos who are fundraising for the victims and families, and Zappos is MATCHING every dollar raised by the community. Learn more on that HERE.
And…if you can’t make it on Friday, you can donate at the Boulder Dam Credit Union as well.
We’ll hope to see you there!
