Candidate Forum This Wednesday Night

This Wednesday evening at the American Legion Hall (508 California Avenue) there will be a Candidate Forum hosted by the Boulder City Community Alliance (website here | Facebook group here) and it will be from 6-9pm.

We’ve been watching the Facebook Event for a few weeks waiting for confirmation on who would be attending and more about the format, and now we have that for you! There are a lot of different issues on the ballot this year, and let’s face it, when our Voter’s booklet shows up, it’s hard sometimes to distinguish among all the different names of the candidates, and what their views are. At this event, the intention is to be able to hear candidates, or their representatives, discuss how their policies will effect Boulder City. Says a representative of the BCCA, “This will be an ideal way to learn about the candidates, their positions, and the exact roles of their office so that we all can all walk into the voting booth with confidence. ”
