We’ve got two Easter Egg Hunts in Boulder City for the kids this year…unfortunately, their times overlap a little…but they’re divided up by age groups, so maybe you can make both!
A lot of folks believe that the City of Boulder City puts on the annual Easter Egg Hunt in the park…but that’s actually not so — it’s an organization called Beta Sigma Phi, which is an organization that brings more than 165,000 women together in their communities. Their members raise more than $3 million for local charities and donate over 200,000 volunteer hours in an average year….and the Easter Egg Hunt is an event they have been doing for over 60 years. Okay, now that we’ve done the “who” – here is the “what and when”:
Beta Sigma Phi’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt is on Saturday, April 16th at Wilbur Square (across from the Post Office). The Easter Bunny will be stopping by and available for pictures started at 8:30am….but you need to bring your own cameras.
There will be two hunts…the first one being for pre-schoolers (0 – 3 years old) and starting at 9am. The second hunt will begin immediately afterwards and will be for 4 year olds through first graders.
Albertsons Grocery store is also hosting an in-store Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 16th. Plastic eggs are filled and hidden throughout the store…when the kids find them – they bring them to a cashier and redeem them for their (age group appropriate) prizes. Here are the age groups and hunt times:
AGE GROUP | START TIMES | |
---|---|---|
0 – 2 Years | 8:30am | |
3 – 4 Years | 9:00am | |
5 – 6 Years | 9:30am | |
