Boulder City is working on making the City more business-friendly by creating a new position to help facilitate those efforts.
This week, Raffi Festkjian began working as the Economic Development Coordinator that Boulder City has ever had. He will be working with the Community Development Department and reporting to Director Michael Mays. According to the Press Release from The City:
Raffi moved to the area in 2017 working for Eastridge Workforce Solutions and then the TJX Companies. He ensured that clients’ needs were met and provided analytical services that will translate well into his new position. He has a Bachelor’s degree in business management from California State University, Northridge, and a Master’s of Business Administration from California Lutheran University. “I am really excited in having the opportunity to being entrenched in this beautiful City of Boulder City and to continue its vision and pride in community,” Raffi said.
Raffi comes to Boulder City with a wealth of business experience that will allow him to coordinate efforts with local business and help find solutions to help create an atmosphere where our economy can remain strong. He was with J.D. Power’s California location for almost 20 years becoming the Senior Director of Global Operations overseeing more than $35 million in revenue.
