Did you know that card-holding members of the Boulder City Library can download ebooks and audiobooks to your favorite device? We didn’t either!
We all love the satisfaction of reading a real book, to hold it in your hand, flip back through the pages when you need to – it’s a visceral, satisfying experience to finish a good book.
But with new technology and the ease of these new devices, phones and e-readers, it’s just common sense to let your technology make it easier to read.
There are a number of apps out there, such as Libby and Zinio that you can use in conjunction with your library membership to download ebooks and audiobooks.
But if you’re stuck or need help, you can work directly with the Boulder City Library staff, and they’ll help you get set up – how cool is that!
Here’s what you need to know:
- You must have an active library card
- To get started, download one of the two apps mentioned above
- Still need help? Call the Library Information desk to schedule time with their staff. They tell us with an appointment, you can literally walk in the door with your device and say, “help me set this up!”
