You have to love it when locals get together and engineer work-arounds for their challenges! Most especially when they involve our kiddos and traditions we dearly love like Girl Scout Cookies!
Normally of course we’d see our favorite troops hanging out at Albertsons and the Boulder Dam Credit Union, but this year they had to come up with a new way.
And this year, thanks to Gayle Helton, Co-leader of Boulder City Troop 76 and ‘The Jill’s” they have created several Drive Thru Cookie Booths at both the Boulder City Chamber of Commerce and Chilly Jilly’z!
Go get your cookies at the following locations, at these days and times:
Chamber of Commerce (100 Nevada Way), 3pm – 6:pm:
- Monday, February 15
- Friday, February 19
- Monday, February 22
- Friday, February 26
Chilly Jilly’z (1680 Boulder City Pkwy.), 10am – 5pm:
- February 13 and 14
- February 20 and 21
- February 27 and 28
Cookies are 4 for $20. Generous Boulderites can purchase a mix and match case for $60.
From Gayle Helton, “We will be accepting cookie donations for local Hometown Heroes that kept our community going through out this pandemic! To buy cookies or donate, please stop by any of our Drive Thru Booths! We thank Boulder City for its continued support of Girl Scouts and our mission to build girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place….. once cookie at a time!”
