The 2nd Annual Boulder City Gingerbread House Competition and Christmas Faire will be held this weekend from November 25th – November 27th at the Boulder City Recreation Center (900 Arizona St.).
The contest allows both children and grownups a chance to show their creativity while supporting some charities, including the Boulder City Boys & Girls Club, the Boulder City Senior Center and Family Promise of Las Vegas. This year’s theme is “America – Then & Now”.
Last year’s competition brought out 21 gingerbread house entries, with the winning house of “Noah’s Ark” claiming the $500 Grand Prize.
New to this year’s event will be live music, more vendors, new categories and food/drink. Hours are Friday (3pm – 9pm), Saturday (10am – 5pm) and Sunday (11am – 4pm).
