The TNT Fireworks stand has again opened over on the Albertson’s parking lot for the 4th of July Holiday. This year, the proceeds will benefit the Boys Soccer Team at the Boulder City High School. And aren’t these youngsters just the cutest!?! They’re on hand to help you buy what you need to celebrate the holiday!
Hours of operation are:
- 10AM to 10PM Sunday thru Tuesday, July 3rd
- 10AM to Midnight on Wednesday July 4th
Other Important Information for the 4th of July
If you’ve missed some of the other signage and notices, the City of Boulder City, and indeed all of Clark County, is letting us know they’ve got a zero tolerance policy this year on illegal fireworks.
Fireworks Safety and City of Boulder City info:
A direct quote from the City’s website HERE on our local policy: “Only “safe and sane” fireworks are legal in Clark County, including Boulder City. “Safe and sane” fireworks do not shoot into the air and / or explode. However, if mishandled, they can still cause severe burns and injuries. All fireworks should be treated with care and supervised by a responsible adult.” Additional info from The City, including the full ordinance can be found HERE.
The Eldorado Valley Lake Bed Closure info:
Once again the Dry Lake Bed will be closed off completely from 6AM on July 3rd, until 6AM on July 5th. So no partying or reveling in that area, including of course setting off any fireworks.
The City warns that all of Clark County will be enforcing all of these policies and will have extra police patrols out and about. The fines are steep if you disobey! It’s a $1,000 fine for possessing illegal fireworks. So we’re thinking that is way, way not worth even considering…if you buy legal, you stay legal.
Everyone please enjoy a safe and happy 4th of July!
