Ahhh…some might think I post to Boulder City Social as a community service…but those who understand me better know it’s so I have a reason to come up with my wacky post titles!
Today’s post is another idea for something the kids can do over the summer…and maybe beyond. Seems we have our own Black Belt Academy here in Boulder City…something I didn’t know until a couple of weeks ago because they’re quietly tucked away in Marshall Plaza!
4th Degree Black Belt Mr. Bobby Erdman instructs Taekwondo, the world’s most popular martial art form, from his school, Erdman’s Black Belt Academy (aka Karate for Kids) through a Basic Program, a Black Belt Club and a Leadership Program.
The Basic Program offers two separate length sessions: Six Month and One Year (with the Six Month program being ideal for those who would like to try Taekwondo without making a longer-term commitment). Here’s the cool part: Erdman’s BBA/Karate for Kids will be part of the Boulder City Deals program (which launches this Friday), so cardholders interested in checking things out can get 30 DAYS OF FREE MARTIAL ARTS TRAINING. Plus, they’ll waive the $100 sign-up fee if you sign up within the first week of class. Nice Fan Perk!
