A couple of Fans have reported in that Lakeview Cinemas (located in the Hacienda Hotel – now known as the Hoover Dam Lodge) will be closing its doors.
Fan Diane said that their website (available here) shows they will close on Sunday, February 9th and when I went to the site – I could see that they are selling all seats for $2.25 with the purchase of a food item at regular price.
Fan Jeri said that she understands the new owners (Dotty’s) wish to build a banquet room in the theater’s location. So there’s the sad scoop of the day and if you want to patronize the theater one last time, you’ll want to go in the next week!
