National Night Out is just around the corner, so mark your busy calendars to bring the family down to Veterans’ Memorial Park for a fantabulous evening outside on Tuesday, August 7th from 6-9pm!
The Boulder City Police Department hosts National Night Out for our city and it’s a great time with a ton of different things to do.
This year they’ll have a host of fun activities including:
- Hands Only CPR training (starts at 5:30 at the Pratte Soccer Field)
- Fire Safety Trailer and Ladder Trucks
- Law enforcement vehicles and equipment with folks to show you around from local, state and federal agencies from all over the valley
- K-9 and Mounted Unit demonstrations!
- An Obstacle Course
- Bounce House
- Raffles
- Free Refreshments!
And of course, don’t forget they’ll have the annual Softball Game which will be the Boulder City High School Alumni vs. the Boulder City Police and Fire Departments!
National Night Out is a nationwide effort to heighten crime prevention awareness, generate support for local anti-crime programs and strengthens neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships – so plan on swinging by – it’s a really fun time. We’ll hope to see you there!
