Back in August of 2017, the Boulder City Chamber of Commerce began a community forum for residents to champion various events, activities and be a gathering point for new ideas to promote Boulder City. They’ve held these ‘Think Tank‘ meetings quarterly since that time, and there has been a meaningful number of ideas that have come out of them!
The next Think Tank meeting, will be held next Monday, March 11th at 6pm at the Elaine K. Smith Building (700 Wyoming Street). The purpose of this meeting, will be to update the community on which events or ideas are actively being worked on. In the future, Think Tank meetings will become bi-annual events, as opposed to quarterly.
So far, two notable ideas that were brought forth by residents, that have been fulfilled are ‘The Big Clean‘, and the ‘Pooch Parade‘. Both of these happened in 2018, and both are slated for this year, 2019 as well!
There were lots of ideas – both big and small – so if you wish to hear an update on what is currently in progress, Jill Lagan, CEO of the Chamber encourages anyone who is interested to please attend!
