Don’t forget to come over to the Boulder City High School track on Friday night to show your support for all of the awesome Relay for Life teams here in Boulder City! And I know it’ll be Red Shirt Friday…but consider going purple for the afternoon!
The event will be held on May 6th – 7th from 6pm – 6am at the Boulder City High School track….yes, it starts at 6 AT NIGHT, goes ALL NIGHT LONG and ends at 6AM in the morning on Saturday. At Relay, teams of people will camp out at the track and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Because cancer never sleeps, the Relay is an overnight event and each team will have a representative on the track at all times.
The American Cancer Society’s website shows that the number of teams in Boulder City has grown to 27 teams with a WHOPPING 246 participants having raised a total of $25,256.40. NICE JOB!!!!
You can see the team list by clicking here and you can see the participant list by clicking here….plus, the DONATE NOW button is really accessible for each team and participant from those very pages! You can join a team or create your own for only $10 (and a $100 donation will come with a t-shirt).
