While not surprising, it’s sad to share that one of the first visible service cuts due to the financial fallout the State of Nevada is seeing from the COVID-19 closures is hitting, and it’s public transit.
The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) has announced that because of severe cuts to their funding, they will have to adjust and possibly reduce multiple routes and schedule changes, beginning this Fall.
But first, they are asking for public input, and the first of several virtual live meetings begin this evening, at 5pm on YouTube. There is also an online survey you can take.

We know that for many of our folks here in town, they are relying on public transit to and from Boulder City, and this has the potential to impact a great many folks and business owners here in town.
So please, do educate yourselves and if you or someone you know relies on these services make your voices heard!
