Boulder City’s own ScubaFy Dive Center has a Groupon today and tomorrow where you can get an IDEA Open-Water Scuba-Certification Course for $149 (usually $348).
The deal includes course books, four classroom sessions, two swimming-pool sessions, up to six open-water dives, rental regulator, air tank, hoods and wetsuit and your IDEA certification card (upon course completion, of course).
The terms are that it’s only 1 per person, although you may buy additional ones as gifts. A reservation is required and it’s subject to availability. Must be 10 years of age or older and as you would expect, sign a liability waiver.
