Ranger Program: Star Party – Chasing the Stars, Sept. 7
Join Rangers and the Las Vegas Astronomical Society at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 7 at the Boulder Beach Amphitheater to learn about the night sky and discuss the impacts of light pollution in national parks. Tips on how to protect and view the night sky in the local community will be shared. Telescope viewing of distant constellations and far-away planets will follow from 8 to 10 p.m. For more information, call 702-293-8990.
