We’ve known about this for quite some time…but our friend Jill Quatrale, Owner of Chilly Jilly’z hasn’t been ready to spill the beans (or maybe the Dole Whip?) until now.
Over on The Patio side of the business, who many of you know is open for outdoor Saturday and Sunday brunch, is also attached to a huge part of the neighboring building that they also own. It sports a huge commercial kitchen and has room for indoor seating too.
Enter, the plan for expansion! Jill tells us that they long ago rescued a lot of the art that was pulled down from the Browder Building and the former Scratch House Restaurant. They’ve always featured some of that at the outdoor Patio area. But they have also incorporated it into what will be a fun indoor dining space.
The intent is to allow for more year-round dining on the Patio side of the business, and maybe expand into dinner seating as well on the weekends. The details will be gradually worked out, as they are of course dealing with all of the COVID-19 craziness and uncertainty, as are the rest of our restaurants.
All we can say is ‘way to go ladies!’ as this bunch continues to churn out great food and great experiences. We’ll hope things go as smoothly as possible as they finish off this project, and we’ll look forward to whenever this new expansion opens up for business!
