The dynamic trio working on opening the Dam Roast House & Browder Bookstore also continue to make headway on their upcoming opening, tentatively slated for the middle of next month. If you missed it, we introduced you to Travis, Misty and Amber about six months ago HERE.
Located on the lower part of the Browder Building on the corner at 554 Nevada Way these folks are furiously making progress on both their external and internal construction.
Yes, it’s a coffee shop with good eats from featured local partners, AND a bookstore! We got a quick look at their menu, with morning bites of goodness from eggs, toast and toppings, something called ‘pancake bacon dippers’ (OMG!) and also healthy and vegan options too. In addition to of course coffee, tea and other hot and cold beverages. ‘Nuff said’.
But oh yes, let’s not forget about the Bookstore either! Giving a huge and well deserved nod to the original owner of the building, Ida Browder. They will feature new and used books and local authors as well. They even have a kids book club you can join, and the cozy seating area inside will include a play area for the kiddos. (Yep, that’s for you mom and dad, take a break and let them blow off some energy in their own section of the store.)
