OK folks. It’s time to do some Spring Cleaning and gather up unwanted items in your yard, home and garage and get it ready to take down to The Big Clean, happening on Saturday, March 28th at Bravo Field in Boulder City. The lot opens at 9am, with drive through stations offering a variety of safe and sound disposal options, and closes at 1pm.
If you’ve never been, there will be a whole crew of volunteers and organizations to help take in all kinds of items that we don’t normally know how to dispose of easily. Such as:
- Old, dried up paint cans
- Tires
- Electronics
- Personal/financial documents
- Prescription drugs
- Pet Supplies
- Books and media
- Documents to Shred
And of course general household junk!
New this year, is the partnership with the Boulder City Yard Squad, we told you about HERE. What that means is that if you, a neighbor, friend or maybe someone in your church needs some help cleaning up their yard/garage area, then these guys can do that and haul it away! It’s all about neighbor helping neighbor, and practicing a little compassion and civic pride along the way. Those who wish to reach out to the Boulder City Yard Squad, can go to their Web Site or call Zach at 702-468-2704.
If you have any questions about what can be disposed of, then call 702-293-9282.
It’s a perfect project for the next weeks ahead, we figure!
