The Boulder City Fire Department, along with the Boulder City Hospital have been working hard to set this up, and are pleased to announce that the Moderna coronavirus vaccine will become available in Boulder City beginning January 25th.
Who gets the vaccine and in what order will be in accordance with the state plan to rollout the doses announced earlier this week, which we told you about HERE. Right now we are in the first phase, “Lane 1”, which means that anyone over the age of 70 who has not been vaccinated or Educators will qualify for this lane.
PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST MAKE A RESERVATION IN ADVANCE, by calling 702-293-9256.
Clinics will be at the Elaine K. Smith Building (700 Wyoming St.) and at the Boulder City Hospital (901 Adams Avenue). Times will run Monday – Thursday from 8am – 12noon, and then from 1pm – 3pm.
They say expect to stay at the clinic for 15 minutes after you receive your shot, and they do note that you cannot have tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 90 days. See more info and links below:
