Everyone loves the first weekend in May because it means the Spring Jamboree is back! And this year, it’s literally the BIGGEST event they’ve ever had!
We sat down with Jill Lagan, the CEO of the Chamber of Commerce to hear what special this year.
The big news is that for the first time ever, there will be an Outdoor Expo from Get Outdoors Nevada taking up one huge section of Wilbur Square Park. In it, there will be a BMX demonstration, an REI tent city, Bass Pro Shops will have a full Kayak and water demonstration area, and the Boys and Girl Scouts of America will have a slack line demo set up.
There will also be a Tiny House demonstration area – so folks can see what something like that might look like set up in a community.
Presenters, music and entertainment will be throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday on TWO different stages. You can download a full listing of all the events HERE.
The Kids Zone area is also larger, with bounce houses, a duck race, human hamster balls, dinosaur inflatables and a rock climbing wall and more!
And of course – Beer, Food and other beverages – as well as arts and crafts, antiques and all told – some 400 total vendors!
