Okay — some SERIOUS props go out to everyone who donated both food and funds the week of May 9th in the Food Drive for Emergency Aid that our friends over at Albertsons held.
You remember the one…it was for the five full days before the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive held by our postal workers…here’s the original post for anyone who doesn’t have the best recall.
Check out the photo below that Albertsons sent over thanking everyone for giving a whopping $1,648.78 in donations and a total of 4,121.95 pounds of food to help Emergency Aid of Boulder City restock its pantry shelves.
Even in these not-so-prosperous times, Boulder City-ites came through…my hat is seriously off to you and as you can see by their sign…Albertsons also sends you an enormous THANK YOU!
