Snap Fitness is celebrating it’s 1 Year Anniversary in Boulder City – super cool and a big congrats to them … it’s great to see any business start up and do so well in the community. They told me that they’re celebrating this auspicious occasion by having a BBQ & Pot Luck at 2 Wheels on Sunday, April 24th (2016) rescheduled from April 10th due to weather – more info on that below.
What I heard in addition to this invitation was that the 2 Wheels event space is being used by a Boulder City business for a special event, not a non-profit organization – something we posted about here.
I checked in with Milo (owner of the 2 Wheels space) and he confirmed that yes, he had extended the usage of the space beyond non-profits for their fundraisers but (and you’ll love this) — because a donation is being made by Snap Fitness to St. Jude’s Ranch for Children in return. So this is a pretty cool development — businesses seem to now be able to apply to use the space also in exchange for making a donation to a local non-profit. We like it!
If you’d like to attend the Snap Fitness Anniversary Celebration, which is open to the community as well as their members, you are welcome — it will be on Sunday, April 24th (2016) from noon to 3pm. Hamburgers, turkey burgers, veggie burgers & water will be provided by Snap Fitness and attendees can bring a “healthy” side dish for pot luck. Enjoy!
