BoulderCity.com is owned and operated by the Boulder City Chamber. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personally identifiable information when you visit the site, subscribe to the weekly eNews, or send us a form.
What we collect
When you subscribe to the eNews or complete a form — contact, photo submissions, jobs, or yard sales — you may be asked for your name, email address, and any details you choose to include in your message.
How we use your information
We use that information to send the weekly eNews and to follow up on something you sent us. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise hand your personal information to outside parties for their marketing.
How we protect your information
The site runs on secured networks. Only people who need access to answer your message or send the eNews can see the information you submit. Form submissions travel over HTTPS.
Cookies and analytics
We may use cookies and similar tools to keep the site working and to understand which stories people read. Google Analytics may set a first-party cookie for traffic statistics. The Facebook Page box in the sidebar is loaded from Facebook and may set cookies if you are logged into Facebook or interact with that box. You can turn cookies off in your browser; some parts of the site may then work less smoothly.
You can set Google ad preferences on Google’s Ad Settings page, or opt out through the Network Advertising Initiative or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Third-party links
Stories sometimes link to other websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

You can visit the site anonymously. This Privacy Policy is linked in the footer of every page. If we change it, we will post the update here. To change or remove personal information we have from a form or eNews signup, email us or use the contact page.
We honor Do Not Track signals and do not allow third-party behavioral advertising on this site.
Children
We do not market BoulderCity.com to children under 13. If you believe a child sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Data breach notice
If a data breach affects personal information we hold, we will notify affected people by email within 7 business days where we have an address on file.
Email (CAN-SPAM)
If you join the eNews, we will send the weekly update and related Boulder City community notes. Every message includes a way to unsubscribe. We will not use a false subject line or from-address. You can also email us and ask to be removed from all correspondence.
