Oh…that Milo. He does like to keep us guessing! Just as soon as I gave up on the idea that 2 Wheels Pub (corner of Wyoming & Nevada Way) would ever materialize…the construction begins! I drove by yesterday to grab a photo and saw Milo standing there, so I went over to see what I could uncover.
I found out that there is a lot to find out! It is going to be a food & beverage spot…but it’s equally an outdoor entertainment and park area. There will be grass, pavers, a water treatment (think pond/waterfall), several different food kiosks, tables, chairs, an entertainment stage, planters, bike repair, beer/wine…perhaps a tattoo artist? It sounds crazy, but I’ve seen the plans and knowing the way Milo’s does things…it’ll be beautiful!
He said his goal was to create an great outdoor spot for folks to come to Downtown and relax/enjoy themselves in a family friendly environment. Oh, and there will eventually be an event board, too. It is to be sort of a “gateway” area into a prosperous and beautiful Downtown Boulder City, so I like the sound of it!
So….there’s not a lot for me to show you yet — except for the hole they’ve already dug for the water treatment. See the hole? Yeah…there. And Lucy. The girl that finally stole Milo’s heart by laying down on the I-15 freeway until he stopped traffic, got out of his car and went to help her. Man…what a girl’s gotta do.
More info and photos as I get them, of course — but Milo did say that he’s looking for all types of entrepreneurs who might be interested in operating any of the types of things I’ve described above. So if you are a foodie who thinks a kiosk is up your alley, or a bike repair guy, or heck – a tattoo artist — feel free to contact Milo directly via email at milowino@gmail.com!
