3rd Annual Loaves & Lobsters, Lobster Fest!
Boulder City UMC is hosting their 3rd Annual Loaves & Lobster, Lobster Fest fundraising dinner on Saturday, May 12 at 6:00 p.m. Live Maine lobster dinner is the highlight of the evening plus there will be a silent auction. All proceeds are used to support the ministries of our local church here in Boulder City and around the world. Tickets are $50.00 each and can be purchased outside the Boulder Dam Credit Union on April 27 or May 4 or by calling Pat at 702-308-8409.
Boulder City UMC supports Emergency Aid, Lend A Hand, and Family Promise, a program which helps homeless families get back into their own home; they make sleeping mats for the homeless, and are strong supporters of PFLAG, Parents and Friends of Lesbian and Gay. They participate in Nevadans for the Common Good making our state a better place to live and work. The church also sent a team of ten to Baton Rouge in February 2017 to help rebuild a home after the devastating floods in August 2016.
