Yep, it’s fall again in Boulder City, and the second big event in the season (after Würst Festival last weekend!) returns the first weekend in October – it’s Art in the Park coming Saturday, October 1st from 9:00AM to 5:00PM and Sunday, October 2nd from 9:00AM to 4:00PM! The event takes place at four parks downtown, adjacent to City Hall.
Proceeds benefit the Boulder City Hospital Foundation, and you can get more info on the event from their web site.
The Boulder City Hospital Foundation informs us, “The event brings together fine are, fine craft and traditional craft artists at one of the largest art festivals in the American Southwest. This free event is a cherished celebration in Boulder City that raises money for Boulder City Hospital. This year’s Featured Artist is Eric Calvillo who blends his Mexican-American heritage with whimsical nostalgic themes. Mr. Calvillo’s work, as well as hundreds of other artists, will be presented at Art in the Park.”
