It’s so close, I can almost smell the smoke from the fireworks already!
The 64th Annual Boulder City 4th of July Celebration is well…on Wednesday, July 4th, 2012! Festivities kick off at 7am with the Annual Pancake Breakfast in Bicentennial Park, a fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Boulder City.
At 9am, the Parade begins at Colorado and travels down Nevada Hwy. to Fifth Street, ending at Broadbent Park (Avenue B & 6th Street) – with the Flyover by Boulder City Veteran’s Flying Group at 9:05am.
NEW WATER ZONE – The only location for water play on the parade route starts at Aztec to Ave. B & Ave. B to the end of the parade at 6th Street. Per the City, if you want to engage in water play, you MUST be at this location. For public safety reasons, there will be NO water play allowed at any other location on the parade route.
From 10am – 4pm, the day’s festivities take place in Broadbent Memorial Park (1301 Fifth St.), where they’ll have Midway booths – food, drinks & games presented by non-profit groups.
And from 6pm – 11pm, the festivities relocate to Veterans’ Memorial Park ($10 parking fee) located at 1650 Buchanan Blvd. Food, water park, competitive games, pie eating, music and of course – FIREWORKS at 9:00pm!
