Boulder City Library Programming October 2021

The Boulder City Library has scheduled its programming for the month of October. We’ve summarized them for you below:

Ages 0-5 Programs – All programs take place in the Board Room of the Library

  • MONDAYS at 10:30AM: Preschool Prep Storytime for ages 3-5 and caregiver
  • TUESDAYS at 10:30AM: Toddler Tuesday Storytime for ages 1-3 and caregiver
  • WEDNESDAYS at 10:30AM: Baby Lapsit Storytime for ages 0-18 months and caregiver
  • FRIDAYS at 10:30AM: Drop In Storytime for ages 0-5

Ages 6-11 Programs – All programs take place in the Community Room of the Library

  • TUESDAY OCT 5 at 2:00PM: Homeschool Hangout
  • THURSDAY OCT 7 AND OCT 21 at 3:30PM: Coding Club – Learn the basics of coding through block coding
  • FRIDAY OCT 15 at 5:00PM: Library Open House
  • FRIDAY OCT 15 at 6:30PM: Evening Movie Casper (1995) Rated PG
  • SATURDAY OCT 16 at 1:00PM: Art Club
  • THURSDAY OCT 28 at 3:30PM: Lego Building Challenge

Ages 12-18 Programs – All programs take place in the Community Room of the Library except as noted

  • MONDAY OCT 4 at 3:00PM: Teen Crafternoon Mason Jar Lanterns
  • TUESDAY OCT 5 AND OCT 19 at 3:30PM: Roleplayers’ Guild
  • FRIDAY OCT 8 at 5:30PM: After Hours Movie Tim Burton’s The Corpse Bride (2005) Rated PG
  • MONDAY OCT 11 at 3:00PM: Teen Crafternoon Bath Bombs
  • SATURDAY OCT 16 at 6:00PM: Wizard Rock Concert: Tonks and the Aurors (Library Amphitheater)
  • MONDAY OCT 18 at 3:00PM: Teen Crafternoon Learn to Crochet Session 1
  • MONDAY OCT 25 at 3:00PM: Teen Crafternoon Learn to Crochet Session 2

Ages 18+ Programs – Various locations and online

  • WEDNESDAYS at 1:00PM: Mindful Hour (CLICK HERE FOR VIRTUAL LOCATION) / Board Room on 10/20
  • THURSDAYS at 9:00AM: Early Risers Yoga Community Room or Amphitheater (weather permitting)
  • TUESDAY OCT 12 at 12:00PM: Spill the Tea Book Club (CLICK HERE FOR VIRTUAL LOCATION)
  • SATURDAY OCT 16 at 2:00PM: Pentagogical Brass Band in the Amphitheater
  • WEDNESDAY OCT 27 at 5:30PM: Roleplayers’ Guild in the Community Room

Family ProgramsCommunity Room

  • THURSDAY OCT 7 AND OCT 21 at 7:00PM: Family Storytime
  • FRIDAYS OCT 8, OCT 15, AND OCT 22: Readers Theater (ages 6-18) Practice reading stories and poems to perform in November
  • FRIDAY OCT 15 at 5:00PM: Library Open House
  • FRIDAY OCT 15 at 6:30PM: Evening Movie Casper (1995) Rated PG in the Amphitheater
  • SUNDAYS at 2:00PM: Board games in the Community Room

Library hours will be Monday thru Thursday from 10:00AM to 8:00PM, Friday thru Sunday from 10:00AM to 5:00PM, Early Browsing Hours on Wednesdays from 9:00AM to 10:00AM. The Library will be closed Friday, October 29 for Nevada Day. If you have questions or need more information about library programs, call (702) 293-1281 or visit the library online HERE.
