A Bird Shower, Not A Bird Bath

Can we talk about the lolly-gagging that goes on in my backyard when it starts to rain, like it is right now? Instead of flying for cover to keep from getting wet, every single bird in my yard rolls over or tilts with a wing raised to shower their undersides!
