One aspect of the new I-ll freeway corridor in our area that we’ve all appreciated is the thoughtfulness to the artwork and care that was applied to the bridges, walls and walkways along the route. The Nevada Department of Transportation really did do a lovely job (at least in our humble opinion) of incorporating the art deco style history as seen in Hoover Dam, as well as honoring the history of the area as well as its scenery and wildlife.
One of the highlights along the I-11 Southbound route is this Scenic Overlook of Lake Mead. So, we thought we’d stop by and take a look – and then share it with all of you. If you haven’t been able to go by, it really is worth a few minutes of your time – hope you enjoy!
