AAUW Home Tour Slated for November 7

The Boulder City chapter of American Association of University Women (AAUW) will be hosting their annual home tour on Saturday, November 7 from 1:00PM to 4:00PM. The proceeds from the tour help fund scholarships for women college and university students who live in Boulder City or Henderson. Applications for Spring 2027 scholarships are available on the branch website at HERE. The Spring scholarship deadline is November 7.

Tickets can be purchased at the historic Boulder Dam Hotel (1305 Arizona Street) for just $20 each. The ticket package includes a wristband which allows entry to the homes and a brochure with maps to help attendees find the homes. Volunteer hosts at each home will point out interesting features to visitors. The tour is designed for those age 13 and up.

Participants on a self-guided tour visit five homes in different neighborhoods of Boulder City. Among this year’s homes are a 92-year-old house that still holds the integrity of the exterior design despite the addition of a spacious second floor, a house described as "where Western spirit meets bling!”, and house with outdoor living spaces that encourage entertaining in a private paradise.
