Hey Fans…this worked out GREAT! I have good and great news for you on last month’s first ‘Adoptable Pet of the Month’ post, Fans!
The good news is that our peeps over at the Animal Shelter reported that last month’s adoption rate jumped by over 50% and that traffic through the shelter to look for pets to adopt jumped by more than that…so that is superbly awesome!
The GREAT news is that Rose and Tippy, who I posted about in last month’s inaugural ‘Adoptable Pet’ (viewable here), were BOTH adopted!
They did have to be separated, sadly, but the Shelter says that they both seem to be thriving in their new homes…so that’s way better than them both being homeless, I say! Pretty awesome. Really awesome.
And now it’s time for this month’s pet…Peaches, which is the temporary name the Shelter has given to this little girl. Here’s her bio:
“Peaches was brought in as a stray in August and has not been claimed, sadly – so she’s looking for a good home. She is a petite, young female cat who is extremely affectionate”.
And clearly, she does not know how to stand still for a photo…hence the blur! If you know who she belongs to (which would be ideal, of course), you’d like to bring her home to your house or know someone who might – please call (702) 293-9283 and/or share this post!
