Airport Day On Time Arrival for November 7

Boulder City annual Airport Day will take place on Saturday, November 7 from 10:00AM to 2:00PM. Admission and parking, as always, are free to all. Come see various static aircraft displays, including some antique aircraft, talk to aviation professionals at the airport, and buy food and drinks while there. If you are between the ages of 8 and 17, you can also register to take a free flight with Young Eagles while you’re at the event!
The event had taken a hiatus for a few years and returned in 2024 to much fanfare from the general aviation community. “Aviation serves a variety of needs from a unique hobby to important transportation,” said Marissa Adou, ACE, Boulder City Airport Manager. “We are committed to providing the best possible experience for those who use our airport. I hope Airport Day fosters a new generation of pilots, mechanics, avionics and other roles in the aviation industry.”
Papillon Helicopters is taking folks on a six-minute helicopter flight to see the airport from the sky! “Papillon Helicopters is excited to welcome guests to Boulder City Airport and give them the opportunity to experience Airport Day from a whole new perspective,” said Jake Tomlin, President & CEO of Papillon Helicopters. “These flights offer a unique bird’s-eye view of the airport and all the activity taking place throughout the day. Whether it’s your first flight or you’ve flown in a helicopter several times before, it’s a memorable way to be part of this great community event.” (Cost is $75; register in advance HERE.)
Airport Day is always a great way to spend some time at one of the city’s most valuable assets. Boulder City Municipal Airport is one of the busiest airports in Nevada, due to the tourism businesses that depart and return to the property each day. Come see what all the buzz is about!
