Yep…there’s a new sheriff in town – well…School Principal, technically.
Mr. Kent Roberts, currently the Assistant Principal at Laughlin Junior-Senior High School is making the move to Boulder City High School to fill the position left vacant by Principal Ann Nelson when she retires in two weeks.
Soon-to-be-Principal Roberts moved to Las Vegas in 2005 and was the Assistant Principal at Pahrump Valley High School for a year before becoming Principal there the following year.
Word on the street (okay, the Internet) is that he’s originally from Kansas, is a graduate of Kansas State University, has taught English, Science, Math, Spanish, Literacy, Social Studies, Reading, Phys Ed and Health.
Oh, and he’s coached football, basketball, track & field and baseball. Sounds like BCHS is the one who is scoring now, eh?
