Angel Tree Wraps Things Up Next Week

Angel Tree at Boulder Dam Credit Union in Boulder CityHah…get it? “Wraps things up”? Gifts? Love it.

Hey Look…there are still some wishes left on the Angel Tree over at the Boulder Dam Credit Union…although I’m glad to say that there aren’t very many.

There’s just one week left to give a gift to some Boulder City folks, as the gifts are distributed one week from today (on Saturday, December 15th). Beneficiaries of the Christmas Angel program are the children of low-income families, St. Jude’s Ranch for Children and isolated, low-income seniors.

Truth be told, I know I won’t have enough time to go shopping next week – so I opted to make a donation instead. You know that there is always going to be the recipient whose wish wasn’t donated and so the program volunteers take the cash donations and fill in the gaps to make sure as many people receive their wish as possible.

So if you have a moment, the ability to help someone else in Boulder City this holiday season, and the wish to clear off the last tags or be a gap-filler like me…head on over to the Boulder Dam Credit Union next week between 9:00am and 5:30pm! Probably earlier in the week is better as I don’t know when they have to stop taking donations.
