The Boulder Dam Credit Union is home to the community’s Angel Tree now thru Friday, December 8. Make sure to stop by and select a request or two to fill for a local child or senior.
The Angel Tree program matches requests from local children and seniors with others in the community who can donate gifts, clothing, food, or gift cards. It’s a wonderful way to meet immediate needs in the community and get in the giving holiday spirit. Requests for children come from Emergency Aid in Boulder City. That special committee is made up of volunteers Kathleen Woods, Helen Breeden, Kathy Mills, Lori McHugh, Pat Benke, and Mary Alice West. The senior requests come from various sources like the Long Term Care Unit at Boulder City Hospital, Quail Ridge, Lend-A-Hand, and Mountain View Care Center.
Stop by the Credit Union at 530 Avenue G, earn your angel wings, and help out a local in need.
