This year, you can join the Shane Patton Pub Crawl and the ‘Search for the Perfect Beer’ starting at 6pm at The Dillinger (1224 Arizona Street) next Saturday, April 13th.
Participating bars are: The Dillinger, Boulder Dam Brewing Co., Milo’s Cellar, Jack’s Place, Two Wheels, The Tap and Maxx’s Oasis. Cost is $35 for the T-Shirt and those are on sale now at The Dillinger and The Tap – but hurry, as sizes are already running low. And as usual, all participating bars have drink specials. Music will be:
- Thee Swank Bastards 6pm @ The Dillinger
- The Unwieldies 8:30pm @ The Tap
Lastly, what will no doubt make this night extra crazy, is the fact that this is also the same night as the Wine Walk (from 4-8pm) so…there will be one heck of a party going on in Boulder City that night! (Uber and Lyft drivers, you might want to spread the word, could be a bonanza of business for you that night in BC!) We’ll see you out and about for sure – Cheers!
Funds raised go directly to the Shane Patton Scholarship Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization — they provide scholarships for graduating Boulder City High School seniors. Donations may be made at The Dillinger and/or sent to the “Shane Patton Scholarship Foundation”, c/o The Dillinger, 1224 Arizona St., Boulder City, NV 89005.
Shane Patton was a Boulder City High School graduate and Navy SEAL who was killed during Operation Red Wing when his helicopter was shot down during a rescue mission. If you are familiar with the book or the movie “Lone Survivor” you will recall his role in that operation.
His friends along with his father Jeff, a 20 year Navy SEAL, established a foundation in his name to celebrate his life and achievements and commemorate his sacrifice. The Pub Crawl is the annual event that finances the scholarships provided to Boulder City High School Seniors. Each year several $1,000 scholarships are awarded to deserving students and citizens.
