Yep, it’s fall again in Boulder City, the Boulder City Hospital Foundation is happy to present the 60th annual Art in the Park. It always takes place the first full weekend in October – Saturday, October 5th from 9:00AM to 5:00PM and Sunday, October 6th from 9:00AM to 4:00PM! The event takes place at the four parks adjacent to City Hall.
Proceeds benefit the Boulder City Hospital Foundation, and you can get more info on the event from their web site. There is free entry to the public, and the event will feature incredible work by artists and craftspeople, numerous food and beverage vendors, and activities for families. Now in its sixth decade, Art in the Park attracts both locals and visitors alike and has become a much anticipated event in Southern Nevada.
This year’s featured artist Jennifer Main has created “Know the Beat of My Heart,” using bold and vibrant color while maintaining a sense of whimsy. She describes her pieces as “being less about decoration and more about a message or deeper story.” Jennifer grew up in Las Vegas and now resides in California.
