Art in the Park Returns October 3 and 4
Yep, it's fall again in Boulder City, the Boulder City Hospital Foundation is happy to present the 62nd annual Art in the Park. It always takes place the first full weekend in October – Saturday, October 3rd from 9:00AM to 5:00PM and Sunday, October 4th from 9:00AM to 4:00PM! The event takes place at the four parks adjacent to City Hall (401 California Avenue): Wilbur Square, Bicentennial Park, and the North and South Escalante Parks.
Proceeds benefit the Boulder City Hospital Foundation, and you can get more info on the event from their web site (HERE). There is free entry to the public, and the event will feature incredible work by artists and craftspeople, numerous food and beverage vendors, and activities for families. Now in its sixth decade, Art in the Park attracts both locals and visitors alike and has become a much-anticipated event in Southern Nevada.
This year’s featured artist, Chuck Watkins Art, has created “Larry’s Bathhouse,” A desert tortoise enjoying a soak in a clawfoot tub, brought to life with charm, humor, and a personality all its own. It’s imaginative, unforgettable, and exactly the kind of piece that makes Art in the Park so special.
We look forward to seeing all our friends and fans there!!
