The Boulder City Art Guild is showcasing its Artists in Action on Saturday and Sunday, May 15 and 16 from 9:00AM to 4:00PM. The free show will be held at 900 Arizona Street in the New Gym. The public is invited to attend to see the talented artists work in their preferred mediums, ask questions and just get to know all the wonderful artists. “Each artist will be at work — showing the process they use to produce their art,” according to Marion Hoekenga. Some of the art works featured will include painting, drawing, wood and ceramic art, fiber arts, handmade, individually designed jewelry and other single design handmade items. There will be artwork for sale at the event so you may also find a beautifully crafted piece to add to your collection.
In addition to the show, a silent auction will be held, benefitting the Boulder City Art Guild Scholarship. Cliff Segerblom is the featured artist and will auction off signed and numbered block prints as part of the fundraiser.
Come on out this weekend and see Artists in Action and watch the magic being created. This is a rare opportunity to watch artisans create and you won’t want to miss it.
