August at the Boulder City Library

School is just around the corner and the Boulder City Library is bringing some fun activities for you to wrap up the summer.

Ages 0-5 Programs
There are no storytimes for the month of August while they prepare for fall programming.

Ages 6-11 Programs
Saturday, August 13 at 1pm Art Club: Ages 6+, Community Room. Learn about art concepts and make your own art to take home.

Thursdays 8/4 & 8/18 at 3:30pm Lego Building Challenge: Ages 6+, Community Room. We provide the Legos, you provide the imagination!

Ages 12-18 Programs
Tuesdays 8/2 & 8/16 at 3:30pm Roleplayers’ Guild: ages 12-18, Community Room. Go on a quest, fight dragons, and loot the villages!

Friends of the Library Annual Meeting
August 30, 2022 11am – 2pm in the Board Room  Join the Friends of the Library for their annual meeting. It is a ticketed event, tickets can be purchased by calling 725-243-3525

Ages 18+ Programs
Tuesdays at 2:30pm Crochet for a Cause, Board Room.

Wednesday, August 2 at 6pm Watch Party: Bonneville Cutthroat Trout: Resilient in a Changing World, All Ages, Community Room.

Fridays at 12pm Lunch Break Yoga: Ages 18+, Community Room

Friday, August 5 at 5:30pm After Hours Movie: Fantastic Beats: The Secrets of Dumbledore (PG-13). Ages 13+, Community Room. Bring snacks, a comfy blanket, pillow, or chair.

Wednesday, August 10 at 10am Becca’s Book Club: Ages 18+, Community Room. Join us to discuss supernatural stories.

Sunday, August 14 at 2pm Origami: Ages 10+, Sign Ups Required. Learn how to make cool modular origami! Community Room.

Wednesday, August 17 at 6pm Library Board of Trustee Meeting, Board Room

Saturday, August 20 at 2pm How Not To Burn Toast Picnic Party, Ages 18+, Community Room

Saturday, August 27 at 11am Ancestry Club: All Ages, Community Room. Learn from others as you research your family history using library resources.

Tuesday, August 30 at 5:30pm Roleplayers’ Guild, Community Room.

Family Programs
