In a decision that wasn’t too surprising, the City Council for the City of Boulder City voted to extend the ban on medical marijuana establishments to retail and all other types of related businesses (original post here if you want to catch up on this issue).
Councilman Shuman was the lone vote against extending the ban (agreeing with the Planning Commission that more research should be done first), although it was pointed out that the ordinance can be changed again at any point in the future (in which case, the hope would be that medical marijuana establishments would be the first to be reconsidered for approval).
